Dr MEVLÜT DAĞ | Medical Aesthetics

I was born in Germany in 1975. After completing my primary, secondary, and high school education in Malatya, I graduated from Fırat University Faculty of Medicine in Elazığ in 2000. Following my medical education, I worked in the public sector for a while, and then decided to focus on the field of medical aesthetics in the private sector. In 2005, I took my first step in this area to both practice medicine and further improve myself.

In the same year, I completed the Ministry of Health–approved Medical Aesthetics Certificate Program, which provided my foundational training. Subsequently, together with my colleagues, we established Malatya’s first aesthetics and beauty center. Being both a co-founder and an active practitioner there played an important role in shaping my professional vision. Until 2014, I continued to perform medical aesthetic procedures in the private sector in Malatya.

In 2014, I moved to Istanbul and opened my own clinic on Bağdat Avenue. Since then, I have been providing non-surgical aesthetic treatments with an approach that aims to achieve a natural, age-appropriate, and balanced appearance without distorting the patient’s facial expression. In Botox, filler, mesotherapy, and skin quality–focused protocols, I embrace an aesthetic philosophy that avoids exaggeration and respects the anatomical boundaries of the face.

As medical aesthetic procedures and cosmetic products have become increasingly integrated in recent years, I pursued a master’s degree at Anadolu University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Cosmetology. In this process, where cosmetology has evolved toward dermocosmetics and pharmaceuticals, it was important for me to scientifically evaluate the effects of product ingredients on the skin.

Alongside my clinical work, I also serve as a national trainer for several globally recognized and reference products in aesthetic medicine:

• Dysport (botulinum toxin) by Gen İlaç
• Restylane (hyaluronic acid–based dermal fillers)
• Sculptra (globally known for biostimulation)
• SkinTech (mesotherapy products, based in Spain)

Through these trainings, I have had the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with many fellow physicians who are either new to the field or seeking to enhance their expertise.

I am married and a father of two. Today, I continue my profession with the same enthusiasm as on the first day, combining my medical expertise, teaching experience, and aesthetic perspective at my clinic on Bağdat Avenue.
